About Me

Hi, I’m Jordan, a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Senior User Experience Designer at Vanguard, the investment company, I use design thinking to develop elegant solutions to solve complex problems and deliver remarkable experiences for our customers.

With over ten years of design experience, I’m passionate about using design and technology to improve the world. This passion has even taken me across the country to San Francisco, where I found my calling in product design and made some great friends before returning to the East Coast.

My desire for learning and excellence has led me to develop a versatile visual and technical skill set. My visual style is clean and simple, yet sophisticated. I believe form follows function, yet I recognize beauty adds value that can be hard to quantify. I tirelessly advocate for improving experiences for end users, while balancing those experiences with business needs. I thrive in professional collaborative environments where quality, excellence, and kindness are valued.

Aside from design and technology, I like enjoying the little things in life with my incredible wife Tina. We love exploring Philly, trying new food, traveling, and volunteering at our church (come visit!). Other favorite pastimes include photography, workouts, The Office, coffee, listening to podcasts, and organizing jawn. Oh, and I’m also attempting to incorporate jawn into my vocabulary so I blend into the Philly landscape. I’ll keep you posted on how that goes ;)

Cheers,

JG
